.hack//G.U. Trilogy is an animated move that is based off the events from the .hack//G.U. games. It has been shown exclusivly in only a couple theaters in Japan starting December 22nd 2007. It was later released on DVD and BluRay disc March 25th 2008. No word thus far on a U.S. release. An OST was release a day later on the 26th of March after the movie, and it features 23 tracks.

Trilogy is a remix of the original storyline to G.U, which will also include an extra 10 minutes of bonus film. There will also be a limited edition of this movie, which will include a full colour ".hack//G.U. World Guide".

.hack//G.U. TRILOGY is based off the storyline of the original three-part game series Rebirth, Remnise, & Redemption, but with CG enhancements and some twists in the plot. TRILOGY manages to fit 60-100 hours + of gameplay into a 85 minute movie, filled with stunning graphics from start to finish.
