.hack//G.U.+ is a manga) that retells the story of the G.U. games, but with more twists and changes. Much like .hack//XXXX and the original 4 games series. Three volumes have been released thus far in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten, with the fourth volume being released March 26th, 2008.
Tokyopop bought the license to G.U.+, and released its first volume in english February 12th 2008. The second volume is scheduled to release June 17th 2008.

|
G.U.+
takes place 7 years after .hack//Quarantine, and like the
original G.U. game trio, you follow the player Haseo. A
powerful PKKer (Player Killer Killer), also known as "The
Terror Of Death", Haseo is searching for a certain
player, known as Tri-Edge. While on his search, he eventually
joined a guild named, "Raven", which is actually
a cover up for a secret group called "G.U.".
