I want to know what you're afraid of. Not uncomfortable or something, but something you actually fear. I don't expect many replies, since most people don't find out what they fear for a long time.

Like me. I don't know fear yet.

yes sometimes people think they fear stuff but they don't actually have a phobia of it

i know i have a phobia of heights. they're petrifying. when i went to sicily with my school we went up etna, and even thought you can't see down i didn't exactly explore like everyone else, just stayed next to the coach thing with my eyes shut... urgh heights

i dont see why everyone seems so fear bugs... they're really really small!

I wouldn't say that I fear spiders and bugs, but there's just something about them that I don't like. Like I have to kill them and I can't resist the urge. Why something would need eight legs is beyond me.

I hate those big fat ones in general and one of it was green, so I don't know if it is poison or not. then omg there them daddy long legs, i'll scream like a little girl if one crawls on me, and even push people out way even if i have to. Its just when I was little, there was a spider on top of the corner, I would go to neighbor place just to pee, until my threw my sneakers at it...
but other bugs dont bother me, and ironically i like spider man

Not really sure what my fears are, although, I have an idea.

The unknown. When I don't understand a damn thing about something, and it's unexplainable, I get pretty frightened about that prospect. An example would be spirits, if they actually exist, which is beyond me.

Pain. Rejection/Humiliation/Disappointment/Abandonment, call it whatever you want. The reason I act the way I do offline is mainly because of this fear (that is, for the most part, a cynical/cold/indifferent ***).

I'm a deep thinker and sometimes it gets really depressing, a few months ago i was asked what i fear, i didn't know what to say, as a kid i was scared of the dark, heights, pain, the sea but none of that bothers me anymore, later that day i thought about it and came to the concluesion that i fear the 'after life', i know i gotta die sometime so i'm not fussed about that what scares me is when if after you die does your consoness live on in total darkness/nothingness, knowing that your dead but awake, you can't do anything apart from think, live in your own thought if thats what it's like it wil be torture to yourself.

I'm not scared to die, but i'm afrid of whats after.

I hate any sort of bug. I don't think that it's fear so much as it is complete and utter disgust. I can't touch them, I can't even stand knowing that there is one anywhere near me.

I am a HUGE believer in the super natural, I've seen WAY more then your average human on that front. I'm really use to it though, so it doesn't really scare me like it use to. Although I still get startled every once in a while.

I'm also not okay with big crowds when I am in side of them. Not one bit. I HATE humans.

I also have a mild fear of heights, but my worst fear, is not being in control. I'm a control freak, and vain. =P who would have guessed it? I can't even ride a roller coaster, because I know that I'm not controlling it.

I don't think too many people can actually handle bugs being too close to or on them. If they disgust you that much, you would really hate my epic centipede story lol. I don't care much for big crowds either. I don't fear them but I usually go out of my way to avoid them. I've recently realized I have a huge fear of losing. I'm also afraid of heights and needles... and I dislike bugs when they're in the house...

I don't know if this counts, but I also hate playing the horror viedeo games in the dark, especially if i'm alone... Some of them are just disturbing, creepy, or just plain scary...

I know what you mean. Thinking a lot can produce some pretty bad negative feelings as a result. Hence my escapist lifestyle.

I've already lost my best friend for about seven years so i already kind of know what its like to lose very close friends.. i'm not scared of losing friends, just hopeful it won't happen again :S

I think a lot of what people fear is the unknown, for me its been a while since i got stung by a bee or wasp and so being stung is kind of an unknown, and whenever there's a bee or wasp close i freak out!

I think that I finally know, in some small amount, what I fear: solitude.

Not the "sitting by myself in my room" kind of solitude, the "I feel like I'm a mis-matched pair in the world. That there is someone for everyone, but not me." I won't lie: I'm kinda-sorta in love right now, and the thought of a life without her tears me apart in ways I can't begin to describe.

I guess I fear mortality. To be perfectly honest, I hate living. It scares the heck outta me.

Also, I always dreamed of having a family. With this stomach condition I have, I think I have about fifteen years to live...

I understand that feeling (though not the fifteen years to live part. Sorry). I usually feel like I'm being watched or that somethings gonna happen when it's not. That's why when I'm home alone I carry one of my swords with me. Last night my girlfriend was in the hospital "getting blood-work done." She went there after a bunch of stuff started happening to her, like rashes, fainting, random bruises, etc. She told me they were testing for Leukemia and the like. I was so terriffied at the thought of losing her like that I was crying. I'm glad we were only texting, because I was a wreck. Images of her stuck in a hospital bed, being kept barely alive by machines and the like kept forcing their way into my head. It was misearble. I'm still terriffied.

Well my fear was realised a while back when one of my cousins and her friend got in to a car drunk and speed off and hit a pole my cousin was ok she suffered a only a little compared to her friend now my cousin goes to Church while her friend is in a coma in the hospital leaving behind her 2 kids and if she were to wake up she would be paralyzed!That night I was to get into that same car but I did not all I know is that this is a fear that hurts alot of people and affects people who lost someone to a drunk driver!
The girls name is Alyssa and has metal in both arms and legs that night she died but was revived and is suffering because of what my cousin and her chose to do.

That's really quite a tragedy. Forgive me, but I must say that I am somewhat irked at both of them, especially the driver. I get rather angry when it comes to decisions that end in tragic consequences. But I'm pleased to hear that your sister is repenting in her own way.

We had a talk on drinking and driving not too long ago because I'm in the year (year12) where people begin to learn to drive. At the end there was a video of people around our age talking about the fact that drinking and driving is bad and the dangers of speeding - one guy said, its better to arrive late than not at all. Then at the end the screen went greyscale, and dates came up like on a gravestone - it turned out that guy had died from a car crash, where he had been drunk. It kind of opens you up to the idea that people know its dangerous but in the heat of the moment do it anyway..

Actually, waking up to find someone watching you can lead to some pretty interesting and entertaining conversations, especially with people you don't know. I've made a few friends that way. Xd
