What guild would you wanna be in?

What guild out of the Roots series would you have wanted to be in if you got the chance?

Since I love researching, learning, buying and sell, even trading information I would have loved to be in Tan. It seemed like they were having tons of fun and feeling ultra mega cool important cause of everything they new that normal players didn't... talk about the ability to get a god complex quick!

If I was in it, I would wanna be in their "Black Ops" division LOL

Good question. I would have to say the Twilight Brigade. Fewer numbers are a plus for me, and since most guild work is done individually or in small groups I would have no problems getting the job done. And there's always the possibility of finding the hidden item:

If I had to choose, I would say Kestrel because of the PKers. Yes, I am a PKer on games that have a PK system. ( I dont target the poor defencless noobs though http://dothackportal.com/forums/images/smilies2/tongue.png )

If no guild was an option, I would be a solo player though.

Same reasons as Mourn. It was a small guild, and the search for the Key of the Twilight is always intriguing.

Though, I might consider TaN, just because I know who the guildmaster is/was.

Balmung said the same thing too, way back when.

But I personally think that being in a guild known only for it's strength is both boring and unimaginitive. I'd like to keep my strength hidden, as if everyone already knows that you're strong as hell, you'll either A) be avoided because everyone already knows they'll get the tar beaten out of them or B) you'll get a bunch of people who think they're hot stuff trying to defeat you to make a name for themselves, only they're really just an annoying waste of time.

Being in a small, obscure guild is cooler if you're strong because you're more likely to end up in a situation where others challenge your strength because you're unknown, and when your fame finally does start to spread you'll get tons of strong challengers hoping to crush the rising star to gain fame for themselves. And because you're not a huge name, they'll think that you aren't as strong as those Icolo champs, so they'll underestimate you.

I'm not saying Icolo is a bad guild, but it's just not my style.

There were two characters that were originally used by the players of Pi and Yata. Yata's first character ran a guild in Roots. Pi's character always followed him around. I would choose that guild. If I couldn't choose that one, I would go with Moon Tree for the chance of getting hidden access to Zelkova's Net Slum ship.

Ps. The guild was called TaN. It was Naobi and Ender who I was thinking about. TaN was a feared guild that sold a large supply of items and information. It included items that were taken through PKs. I think it would have been a very fun guild to get into. Naobi and Ender were on a hunt to track Ovan for his character data. Naobi was able to trap Ovan and later study his character data. It was Shino that had it disbanded by contacting the Administrators since it violated the rules. Following this, Ender was able to return to her job of system administration and her normal character as Pi. Naobi was also able to go back to the Serpent of Lore as Yata.

I highly agree with this comment :D,
I would love to help out new players and teach them "the ropes". While also making new long term friends :glomp: . I would consider tan just because I think it would be really cool to see all the different kind of items :exci: the "WORLD" has to offer. Not to mention to call dips on all the latest and greatest items! :zomg:
