Favorite SIGN Character!

Who was your favorite SIGN character, and why?

Mine was a very small part character in the series, A-20. I liked her personality because it reminded me alot of myself when I was younger. Any scene that she showed up in I knew was gonna make me laugh, and that was a nice break from the slow seriousness of the majority of the rest of the series.

I like A20's bumbling and innocent cuteness too. The part were she's just sitting there gitting hit repeatedly by that enemy was hilarious. However, I have to say that Tsukasa is my favorite. We were so alike when I first watched the show, and we still are.

And from a Tsukasa stand point I like Subaru...

I am a Sora fangirl (fanboy). I admire him in a way.

I like Bear too. He's so calm and wise.

My favorite SIGN character is Tsukasa. I love his/her character background story, it fits so well with the thoughts and actions he/she takes during the series. I also love how she has a male character XD

Sora! Because I always found him to be the easiest to relate to. I loved his whole demeanor/personality. He was always coming up with ways to entertain himself to prevent the game from getting boring. He also gets extra points because of his hair color XD

Of course it would! I feel like watching the whole series again from start to finish now but I recently started re-watching DBZ again and I'm only on episode 86, so it will still be some time before I can give SIGN another run through. A20 was really funny, and I still do wonder why she did not get just a bit more screen time. It seems like most people favor Tsukasa everywhere I go, there's nothing wrong with that of course, but I never undestood WHY he is so popular. I always found him quite gloomy and depressing, but I must admit he too had his moments. Blah! We all have our own preferences, that's what makes things so interesting...

My thoughts on Tsukasa's popularity: I believe that it's because he's gloomy and depressing that most people love him. It's not just that, however. It's also probably because of his sad up-bringing that most people feel really sorry for him. Seems that people have hearts after all.

I believe you hit the nail head on. I guess a lot of people just tend to sympathize with characters like Tsukasa. I wonder why that is though. LOL, not ALL people have hearts...

I'd have to say Sora because in a way, he is funny and unique.

And Subaru because she reminds me of myself.

I like Sora's attitude. It really surprised me that he was only in fourth grade, but at the same time it didn't. His thought process was more advanced than most children of that age, but the simplicity should have given it away. Like in one of the episodes: BT goes to an area with all the large mushrooms to meet Sora. It's raining and Sora walks calmly up to her. "Not jumping like an acrobat?" Sora smirks and replies, "as you can see, it's raining." It's times like that were I really like Sora.

There's also that time in Net Slum where the Silver Knight and Mimiru are hanging out. Mimiru makes a comment about him talking like an old man when she learns how old he is in the real world. His reply: "Would you rather hear me talk like that Sora"-puts on a higher pitched voice somewhat like Sora's-"Lame." That was pretty funny...

I really liked Sora in SIGN, but of course I loved Helba the most, like in everything else. I don't think there was a character I particularly hated the most, all I know is I was really turned off Tsukasa's english voice haha. I have SIGN on DVD and still watch it in Japanese.

Damn shmoofy voice acting. pft.

i thought sora was cool n fun-luvin lol i kno he was in fourth grade but that actuli means nufin 2 me, i hav no idea how old that makes him or the equivalent yr in england..

Tsukasa was really cute too and i felt sorry for him/her but my favourite was Mimiru cz she was upbeat loads and kept wiv tsukasa like wen she stayd ther for like foreva just to find him/her... she was a great character, n also she's funny in .hack// gift wiv Blackrose *laughs* =]]

I really liked each of the characters, for different reasons, but I would have to say Bear was my favorite. Probably this is because I can relate to him, a bit older than the others, and concerned about the lives of the others, more calm and thoughtful.

Mimiru! I just love her carefree persona. She's friendly.
I sometimes wonder if she looks up to Bear as a father figure or mentor of some sort. Since she's always following him. I think the conversations between them are so cute!

I think that she sees Bear as some sort of "sage" if you will. Someone filled with knowlege and experience that can give good advice when it's needed, or a helpful opinion every now and then.

So yeah, like a mentor. Or from a different perspective she could look up to him as a father figure for the character Mimiru.

Of the SIGN characters I enjoy Tsukasa (Mostly for his indecisiveness) and A-20 for her unfailing humor.

I didn't think of A-20 so much, as she seems to be more of a background character (she's probably about three scenes from just being a 1-shot, like the girl who had the sick grunty).

She's rather funny.

I also liked the way Harold was portrayed in Sign; sitting upside down in a creepy man/chair thing, speaking in riddles. Way better than a floating rock XD

tsukasa is able to portray anybody's aspect on their humanistic characteristics, one way or another, therefor making her the most manageable and amazingly brilliant.

I like Tsukasa because he reminds me of myself in so many ways. I used to be so cut from the world, trapped in my own feelings.
It took alot to get me to open up and make friends.
