Did anyone besides me not like the anime?

dunno why you think like that O.o i kinda felt the sign anime was good O.o I got so into it i couldn't even go away from comp i just sat down and watched episode after episode and so on O.o

edit: btw i think it was the confusing/mystery-like story line that made me watch it =P

I loved sign... I thought it was done very well. Not too childish, not too adult.. just the right mix, and it kept me glued to the screen until I finished all of it.

Course, I did like a lot of the characters too. They were appealing, to me at least.
I do admit, the storyline was confusing, and I never got to finish it when they air it, but I managed to get the complete .hack//SIGN set and watched all the episodes in one sitting and finally saw where .hack//INFECTION continues the storyline from the anime. For the longest time, I couldn't figure out the connection because I missed the last few episodes of SIGN.

There were times where it was ridiculously slow, so that was a bummer. And I also wasn't too fond of Tsukasa's character, but then again I can never really relate to the Shinji Ikari types in anime. Plus the M. Night Shyamalan TWEEST of Tsukasa actually being a woman at the end seemed rather forced and pointless. Okay wow, so the cripple and the emo fall in love through a video game, and are now lesbians, thanks for shedding light on that, excuse me while I kill myself.

But the musical score repairs all grudges I have with it, one of the most beautiful OSTs in anime.

In .hack series, i’m attracted from the story line and the plot rather than the action. //Sign kinda confused me and I didn’t understand some partshttp://dothackportal.com/forums/images/smilies2/confused.png For example the twilight dragon.

I loved SIGN tbh, its different and unique, and fun.

The characters are memorable, plot was excellent, and this anime is very underrated.

I think it had potential to be more action packed, but then that would take away from the mysterious and "Whats going to happen next?" affect.

I guess it depends on how wide your range of anime preferences are, but besides that, this is one I would recommend seeing, if not at least once.

Yeppers, she sure is a girl... towards the end the series turns a bit yuri too. So if you don't like that kinda thing, I wouldn't watch the last 2 episodes.
