.hack//Another Birth's first volume was released in Japan March 1st 2004, and released three other volumes to tell the story of the .hack//Games saga. Tokyopop released this series in english June 13th 2006.
.hack//Another Birth Volume 1-4 re-tells the events from the first four game series, through the eyes of BlackRose instead. You not only follow her on her adventure with Kite and friends in "The World", but also her real life and her struggles with being a full-time student. You will also meet some new faces, and unlock some new mysteries of the enigmatic MMORPG that Akira Hayami encounters.
